NEW opportunity for ACA in Big 4 making 1st move into industry" - Brighton (with working from home offered) Grafton Banks Finance is looking for an ambitious Financial Reporting Manager to join an established and fast-growing international business, with offices based in Brighton and boasting a fun, sociable and relaxed culture. 2-3 days can be worked from home. Reporting to the Head of Finance this role requires an enthusiastic individual to take responsibility for a small team, overseeing monthly reporting, year-end statutory accounts and all compliance, tax, VAT and audit matters, with the help of external practice. Some of the key responsibilities include: Responsible for a team of people doing financial and management accounts, and accounts payable Maintain the systems and processes for producing the management accounts for Board Meetings Maintain relationship with the banks in several countries, mandates, security and approval limits Interpret the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow to give insight on performance of the business Quarterly or monthly VAT reporting and other compliance issues Prepare statutory accounts for the year end for a number of companies within the group Assist with the preparation of the group Annual Report and acquisition accounting. The successful candidate will be:- - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) - Working in an accountancy practice, or with industry experience. You'll have excellent spreadsheet skills and substantial technical competency in financial accounting. This role will ideally suit someone who possesses a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition and desire to succeed.
