Financial Services Administrator

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and ever-growing financial planning business located in Birmingham.  We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Financial Services Administrator to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.

This position is working Monday – Friday 37 hours a week and you will be offered a salary up to £30,000 which is demonstrable with relevant experience.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within an independent firm, with strong experience of full range financial products and providers including products, platforms, and pensions.

You must be able to show experience within wealth management to be considered.

Financial Services Administrator main duties:

• Assist in delivering the advice proposition within agreed service levels
• Support paraplanning team and advisers with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Gather personal data, pension, investment, and life policy information
• Respond to client inquiries promptly, coordinating with the team and product providers
• Process new business applications
• Prepare client files for meetings
• Fulfil investment instructions on chosen platforms
• Provide insurance quoting
• Have direct client contact
• Collaborate closely with advisers and paraplanning to standardize systems and processes

Financial Services Administrator required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a genuinely independent Financial Services firm
• Is tech-savvy and adaptable to various systems for client support and financial planning.
• Possesses knowledge of a wide range of financial products and experience with multiple providers
• Focuses on enhancing business efficiency by simplifying processes.
• 2 Years Wealth Management experience required.
