Financial Services Team Leader

As Finance Services Team Leader, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated person to join an established finance team and this is a fantastic opportunity for a senior finance officer or an ambitious finance professional to take the next step in their career.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful person would be but not limited to:

• You will manage and lead a team of 2/3 finance professionals
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, incl. bank reconciliation, accounts payable, expenses, and credit card receipts
• Utilise your expertise in various finance systems.
• Handle project work related to finance and contribute to process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with different departments to provide financial support and guidance.

Requirements

The successful Finance Services Team Leader will be/have:

• AAT Level 3/4 qualification or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Extensive experience in a finance role, with proficiency in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, expenses, and credit card receipts
• Previous experience managing a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Office and touched on other various finance systems
• Competent or Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel would be great
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired:

• Knowledge of Charity accounting and SORP, but definitely not essential
• Knowledge of Sun Accounts finance system
