YOUR ROLE…
As F&S Service Engineer you will undertake the servicing and maintenance for our customers. You will take ownership of a problem and have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. Taking pride in your work, you will deliver the best service to our customers and exceed their expectations whenever possible.

Drive excellent customer service by working with the area supervisor and national Call Centre utilising our dedicated PDA management software. You will be expected to provide a professional and positive "can-do" approach to service calls and maintenance visits. Once established, the successful candidate will also have significant additional earning potential through our callout rotaAttend and resolve daily service calls plus maintenance visits where requiredYou will accountable for your vehicle and its stock once issued. It is your responsibility to ensure they are adequately maintained with any issues being escalated once identifiedFlexible working hours will be periodically required to meet client demandIdeally located approximately 30 minutes travel into your working areaPerform Call Out Duty in accordance with published rotaCarry out minor day-work tasks as required. Aid Installation technicians when required and assist other Service department personnel during their absence in order to achieve Company targets and objectives. Clean driving licenseEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Working knowledge of Intruder systems: Texecom, Galaxy, Pacom & GE rangesWorking knowledge of Access Control systems (PC based and standalone): Lenel, C-Cure, PAC, Genetec & PaxtonWorking knowledge of CCTV systems across analogue and IP platforms.Working knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems across Addressable and Conventional: Kentec, Advanced, GentPreferred experience of the following will be advantageous: Milestone, Dahua, Hanwha, Genetec,PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Solid experience within the security industryStrong knowledge of the Security Systems industry and it's standards is essential Knowledge in Fire is ideal, but training can be providedProven field service technical experienceProactive response to all situations; lone working and problem-solving ability.Proven track record of delivering excellent customer serviceAbility to identify & refer potential sales leads (paid commission available)Good communications skillsGood time management and planning skills
