SalaryWe are proud to be partnering with an award-winning multi-disciplined surveying consultancy firm, who are looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor on a permanent contract.
This will be a full-time position based in Kent and a salary of around £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will hold memberships with Institute of Fire Prevention Officer, Institute of Fire Safety Managers & Institution of Fire Engineers and hold a full UK driving license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting comprehensive Type 1 - Type 4 Fire Risk assessments on-site and identifying hazards and existing fire safety measures
Compiling reports and making recommendations to the business to prevent occurrence and recurrence of incidents
Identifying fire safety deficiencies and documenting measures that are inadequate
Drawing up specifications for remedial works
Reviewing fire strategies
Experience required:
Strong knowledge of Approved Document B
Memberships in IFPO, IFSM, IFE
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
