First Impression Team Leader
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum DOE, plus company benefits

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm including a 1 hour lunch

Purpose of role
The Front of House Team Leader is responsible for managing the front of house service and the onsite team. It is a broad role which involves building and maintaining a productive team and working to tight time schedules.
The Team Leader will also act as a department ‘coach’ and assist in the development of the team by helping employees look for opportunities to develop and succeed in their job. This is a hands-on role and will involve working alongside the team to deliver the overall service.
Key responsibilities
- Complete daily customer service tasks as required including cover for reception, switchboard, hospitality, event management and overseeing the audio-visual systems and house-keeping
- Responsible for managing one Receptionist
- Ensure that the workplace is maintained in a tidy and well-presented manner at all times
- Ensure that policies, procedures and standards are correctly implemented and maintained
- To be responsible and manage the health and safety for the team and visitor areas
- To manage the staffing resource and play a flexible role to cover line manager or team absences when required
- Deliver training, and ensure that staff are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role
- Directly supervise assistants, tracking all aspects of performance including continuous feedback meetings, giving regular feedback to your line manager
- Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible
- Through the collection of data, compile a monthly report for the onsite service
- Routinely research, propose and budget innovative ideas for the development of the onsite and companywide service
Personal attributes
- Experience as a Senior Receptionist or Assistant FOH Team Leader within a corporate environment
- Experience of managing, motivating and developing a team
- Experience of collecting data and creating reports
- A passion for service excellence and innovative ideas
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- A high attention to the finer details without losing focus on the bigger picture
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience using email, Microsoft packages, room booking and switchboard software
- Excellent personal presentation
