Job description

We are actively looking for a Fleet & Purchase Coordinator to join our team based full-time out of our Great Dunmow office.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management

  • Responsible for the management of 45-50 vehicles
  • Booking in MOT, services & any repair work
  • FORS Accreditation audits
  • Daily review of vehicle reports, acting with urgency on any defects or issues engineers have noted
  • Ensure vehicles are checked, serviced, repaired etc. within deadlines.
  • Arrange new driver details and maintain records on the FMS
  • Process details of vehicle fines, congestion charges etc
  • Co-ordinating the relevant paperwork for Accidents / Incidents
  • Coordinate delivery and setup of newly purchased vehicles.

Buyer

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Speaking to suppliers
  • Helping maintain warehouse stock availability at all times
  • Handling same-day purchases and requests
  • Managing onsite generators and plant hire process
  • Generating reports

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fleet management experience
  • Buying management experience
  • Able to manage people efficiently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven skills in MS Office packages
