Engineering Manager

We are recruiting an Engineering Manager (M&E) for an In-House team within the public sector. This is a brilliant opportunity to work client side, in a permanent Engineering Managers role in central London.

You will be working for a leading public sector organisation within their Estates team, reporting into the Deputy Head of Estates. Within this Engineering Managers role you will be responsible for delivering statutory compliance, contract management, planned maintenance, reactive repair, and minor works projects whilst ensuring the health and safety of the environment. 

This Engineering Managers role will include:

• Managing a team of 8 engineers to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance services
• Accountability for statutory compliance and health and safety
• Responsibility for minor works projects 
• Managing systems and services in order to provide value for money, high quality provision and cost-effective management for your area of responsibility.
• Managing budgets and forecasts for your hard services division. 

For this Engineering Manager role we are looking for: 

• An experienced Engineering Manager who is qualified as an electrical engineer 
• Experience of budgeting and forecasting
• Experience of managing a multi skilled maintenance division
• IOSH/NEBOSH Health and safety
• Understanding of site compliance.
• Experience of working with listed buildings previously.
