About the role
We are looking for an inspirational individual with unyielding commitment for success to maintain and develop all aspects of the Fleet Workshops and the maintenance side of our vehicle and plant fleet. This is a rare and exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated Manager with the skill and ability to continually improve our effective and efficient Fleet Workshop performance. We want you to demonstrate key strengths in people management, delivering on objectives and providing high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will need to have excellent communication, planning, people and organisational skills, be commercially and industry aware to maximise opportunities for efficiencies and have a strong success record in delivering results. By supporting the Head of Fleet Operations in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Fleet service and achieve full vehicle compliance and availability to successfully support the needs and efficiency of Ubico's front line services at all times.
You will need
- Full, valid, UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent) with own vehicle and appropriate insurance.
- City and Guilds full craft certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of best practice in Fleet Workshop management.
- Experience in the management of people.
- Experience of driving productivity in a workshop or similar environment.
- To communicate clearly and effectively, a good listener and presenter with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete documents legibly and accurately.
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with some experience of using bespoke computer systems.
