In January 2024, we acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel that is tucked away in the quintessential Cotswold’s village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester.
At THE PIG, we offer our guests a daily changing menu which is dedicated to the ingredients grown within our own kitchen garden and fresh produce provided by our local suppliers. We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG – and The Village Pub and have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our growing team.
As Maintenance Manager you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and report directly to the Hotel Manager regarding any essential or non-essential maintenance with the functionality, efficiency, health & safety of the property being the priority.
You will lead a small team of Maintenance Assistants and develop their skills by leading by example.
Experience in a similar role is essential, along with relevant qualifications such as PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health, and safety. A pro-active attitude is a must as our hotels are open 365 days a year.
