We are looking for Teaching Assistants for both immediate and September 2024 starts.

Here at Team Educate, we're currently in search of exceptional and experienced Teaching Assistants for schools located in the South Birmingham and Solihull area. The role is tailor-made for individuals who possess a strong desire and heartfelt dedication to nurturing the potential of learners within the classroom. Teaching Assistant roles offer lots of flexibility and versatility. We work with a range of different schools in the area and can offer you work in a setting that suits you, including Primary, Secondary and Special schools. Experience working as a Teaching Assistant previously is vital for this role- you should have experience working with a range of different pupils with varying needs and abilities, including SEND and behavioural difficulties.

Our in-house team of teachers are here to offer support and guidance throughout your new role and help you settle into each new placement you have.

The role of a Teaching Assistant:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play an integral role in providing tailored support to pupils, ensuring they receive the finest education and the tools needed for personal growth. Collaborating closely with class teachers, you'll contribute to fostering a supportive teaching environment, allowing each pupil to thrive in their lessons. Your experience will mean that you can work closely with children with minimal supervision, and will have the ability to take the lead and make any role your own.

Successful Teaching Assistants should have:

• A proactive attitude coupled with a genuine passion for working with children.

• Previous experience of working with/supporting the varying needs of young learners.

• An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or a willingness to submit a new application.
