Our partner is seeking a talented real-timeembedded software engineer to join their team as a Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer.
The Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineerwill play a critical role inverifying and validating the real-time softwarefor revolutionary orbital debris missions. This is your chance to be at the forefront of space exploration and contribute to a cleaner, safer future for our planet.
Key Responsibilities for the Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer:
- Conduct rigorous Flight Software Verification, validation, and integration to ensure flawless performance.
- Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive plans for thorough Flight Software testing.
- Set up and manage diverse testing platforms to rigorously evaluate software functionality.
- Support all testing phases, including non-functional and automated regression testing, to identify and address potential issues.
- Find and implement the best test equipment and techniques to maximize Flight Software testing effectiveness.
- Co-ordinate with other teams at sub-system and system level to identify test and integration needs.
- Actively participate in mission system test and simulation campaigns.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within the business, sharing your expertise and contributing to projects across the organization.
- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant engineering/science discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in developing real-time embedded systems using C/C++.
- Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in verifying and validating real-time systems.
- Have a proven record of creating test scripts and automated tests, with knowledge of scripting languages.
- Possess solid understanding of software development methodologies and embedded software engineering.
- Experience in implementing real-time systems and software.
- Have experience in effectively executing test plans.
- Experience with Python programming is advantageous.
