Leeds Playhouse are recruiting for a new Food & Beverage Supervisor.
Alongside the other frontline teams (Front of House, Premises/Security and Box Office) the Food & Beverage team plays a pivotal role as the public face of the theatre. Welcoming audiences and visitors and delivering a first-class customer experience, whilst still ensuring service is fast enough to allow people to enjoy their visit in time before seeing a show. The team efficiently operates the Playhouse Bar, Terrace Bar, Playhouse Kitchen and Front Room Caf , proactively maximising sales, especially during periods of great time pressure.
Food & Beverage Supervisors are required to cover all aspects of F&B service delivery in each of the areas of operation. The Supervisor may oversee more than one area at a time depending on business levels, and will have oversight of a staff group made up of several team members.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, the Supervisor will monitor and champion the Playhouse standards. They will be responsible for leading their team on shift to ensure the best service is provided to all customers across the range of F&B services.
We are members of the Disability Confident scheme.
