We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our Hilton Garden Inn Hotel team as a Food & Beverage Team Member
As an F&B Team Member you will support the Hotel Management team to ensure that the Guests have an exceptional experience from check-in through to check-out. This will involve working in the Food and Beverage Department.
The Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford (the Home of Lancashire Cricket) is a unique hotel positioned in a world class thriving multi-purpose venue that hosts a multitude of large-scale and high-profile events, from international cricket to sell-out concerts.
The hotel, with its 150 bedrooms (including 85 pitch-facing rooms), restaurant (breakfast and dinner) and bar is located within the Emirates Old Trafford venue sitting alongside our award-winning conference & events facilities integrating seamlessly with the stadium and all the events that it hosts.
As a venue, Emirates Old Trafford has played host to some of cricket’s most iconic moments since 1864 and is now an award-winning world-class venue that has undergone a transformational redevelopment over the last decade.
The Role
Your responsibilities in this role will include, but by no means be limited to:
- Meet and greet all visitors on arrival.
- Complete all tasks on daily check list.
- Help to run the F&B Operation to Brand and Club standards. Serving food and beverage in the restaurant, bar and roomservice.
- Be responsible for understanding all the services offered at Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford, demonstrating excellent communication skills and product knowledge with guests and staff.
- Confidently deal with general enquiries made my walk-ins and telephone enquiries, ensuring the enquiry is dealt with by the appropriate department/person.
- Answer all direct calls that come through the switchboard politely and in a professional manner.
- Successfully resolve guest complaints in accordance with compensation guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company Brand standards.
The Person
- Hotel food and beverage experience from either a professional, customer service or hotel background.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems
- Good organization and administration skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Positive attitude and exceptional communication skills
- Accountable and resilient
- Confident telephone manner
