Food Production Operative

Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery in a Food Production environment
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure product safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Follow standard operating procedures for product assembly, packaging, and labeling
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications

We are delighted to be partnering with a major employer in Bromborough as they seek to add Food Production Operative to their team.

Location –

Pay Rate - £10.72

Hours – 10pm-6am (training hours for the first 4 weeks are 6am-2pm)

As a Food Production Operative your duties will include:

- Packing products.
- Cleaning the area and other tasks associated with the efficient running of the production line.
- Ensure that Health, Safety Environmental, and GMP standards are complied with in line with company policy, be responsible for ensuring that the product is produced safely following Food Safety & Quality standards.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned according to cleaning standards and ensure equipment and ingredients are prepared and ready for production start times.

Our Perfect Worker:

Our perfect worker will be able to work within team and have a flexible attitude to work, including the ability to change shift times if required. Food Production Operatives will be physically fit as there is some manual handling, pushing, bending and lifting. You will be happy to work in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.

Please note that once successful candidates will be required to complete Online training 5.5 hours (will need access to laptop/computer) - training will be paid for.

Salary: £10.72-£12.15 per hour
