The role will be full time fromSeptember 2024. The school is happy to offer either a permanentcontract or a 1 year fixed term contract.

The Role of Food TechnologyTeacher:

• Planning and delivering dynamic and engaginglessons that align with the curriculum
• Providing students with practical hands-on experiences inthe school’s fullyequipped Food Technology facilities
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment thatencourages creativity and experimentation
• Assessing and providing constructive feedback on studentwork to facilitate their progress and achievement
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovativeteaching materials and resources
• Monitoringstudent progress and communicating effectively with parents andcaregivers

The IdealApplicant:

• Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) andQTS
• Have strong subject knowledge and apassion for food and nutrition
• Have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
• Bestrong in behaviour management, facilitating the best learningenvironments in the classroom
• Hold an enhancedworking with children DBS or the ability to apply for one throughus
