Position:

Food Technology Teacher (KS3 - KS4)

Pay: £145 – £220 per day 

Contract: Full-Time (Mon - Fri) 

Start Date: ASAP

Our client Secondary school is located within County Durham.  For candidates who do not drive, there are many public transport links from the surrounding areas of The North East.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent

• Excellent subject knowledge within the D&T curriculum with a passion for your subject.

• Strong behaviour management skills.

• Have a child only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. (We can help you apply).

• Provide 2 professional references from recent employment.

Job Brief:

• Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology to a range of abilities.

• Plan, deliver and mark D&T lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.

• Plan both practical and theory lessons to match the needs of students.

• Array of extracurricular activities to get involved with.
