We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves handling heavy units, requiring precision and care. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate, perfect for someone who enjoys a structured work week and has experience in operating heavy machinery.
Day-to-day of the role:- Safely operate forklifts to move heavy units within the facility.
- Load and unload units from delivery trucks and place them in designated areas.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in safe working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate movements and ensure efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Driver, particularly with heavy loads.
- Valid forklift operator’s license and training certificate.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and heavy machinery.
- Ability to work early shifts from 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime available (No mandatory).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
