Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift efficiently and safely to transport materials or goods within the warehouse or industrial setting.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Performing regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
- Safely stacking and organizing materials in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.
- Collaborating with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders and maintain effective communication channels.
- Assisting with the execution of inventory management processes such as stock counting, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines, ensuring the well-being of all staff and minimizing any potential risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid and up-to-date counterbalance forklift license/certification is essential.
- Previous experience as a Forklift Driver in a similar industrial setting is highly preferable.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficient time management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay Rate: £11.00 - £12.00 per hour
