Forklift/ Warehouse Operator

Thrive Group are recruiting for a Forklift/ Warehouse Operator on a temporary to permanent basis, with a view to start immediately.

This position is located in the Dartford area.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, paying £16.51 per hour.

Responsibilities of the role includes;

• Warehouse duties including, loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Internal handling of materials and other related tasks in the warehouse.
• Sampling of incoming materials for ID testing.
• Perform duties in compliance with health, safety, welfare and training guidance.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in compliance with GMP and Health & Safety requirements.
• Carry out duties in line with the Company's Quality Assurance Policy.
• Preparing documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation including using paper-based and computer-based systems.
• Labelling operations in compliance with the Quality Management System.
• Use warehouse space efficiently.
• Provide information in support-to-support communication with customers.
• Involvement in other warehouse related activities as directed by the Operations Management.
• Assisting in handling tasks with the GMP area.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with SOPs.
• Adherence to Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Support the Production Team.
• Stock control of consumables used in Production including ordering stock.
• Where appropriate act to resolve safety concerns.
• Use the appropriate systems to document and report Safety and Quality incidents.
• Manage and report any accidents, incidents and/or any other health and safety related matters in accordance with company policy and follow up and complete investigations.

• Strong numeracy, verbal and written reasoning skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach with a desire to produce high quality work ensuring delivery of excellent results.
• Problem-solving skills with high level attention to detail.
• Team player capable of communicating effectively across all departments.
• Valid Reach Truck Forklift License
