Forrest School Teaching Assistant

Your new schoolI am currently working with a 2 form entry primary school in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Forrest School Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis.Your new roleAs a Forrest School Teaching Assistant you will work under the instruction/guidance of the Forest School Teacher to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for children. Supervise and provide support for pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. This role is for mornings only 5 days a week.What you'll need to succeed

• Forest School Level 3
• Level 3 childcare qualification (if you do not have a Forest School Leader Level 3 qualification)
• Proven experience of working with children at the primary or early years level
• Strong understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and keeping children safe
• Strong understanding of responsibilities around provision for children with SEND
• Deep respect for children as unique individuals and finds joy in working with them
• Commitment to own personal, emotional and spiritual development and well-being
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others
• Passion for education, well-being, child development, nature and outdoor learning and a dedication to continuing their own learning in these areas
