Position profileAs
FP&A Accountant you will be the business partner to the operations of the business, ensuring relevant stakeholders remain informed in line with short, medium and long terms strategic goals. Moreover, you will drive increased financial awareness throughout your allocated business areas. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
Oversee and support the production of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentaryAnalyse financial data to understand business performance Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall performance Present monthly results and participate in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes Offer expert insights on the financial consequences of operational decisions Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis to aid decision-making Establish strong relationships with senior mangers and their teams Guide and empower teams by providing relevant financial analysis and challenging their thinking Identify and create opportunities to increase revenue Collaborate with finance colleagues to ensure effective business partnering across the organisationAssist in the presentation of financial information to various internal committeesPlay a key role in year end and the financial audit
Person profileQualified or working towards an accountancy qualification (desirable) Strong budgeting and forecasting experience Strong management accounting experience Strong knowledge of MS Excel including modelling Track record of partnering with non-finance business areas on matters of financial analysis
On OfferThe role of
FP&A Accountant is offering the following package:
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum Pension – 10% employer contribution Hybrid/flexible working Holiday allowance – 33 days Other benefits available on request
The office is based in Edinburgh with parking available on site. Moreover, it is easily accessible via public transport from the City Centre and surrounding counties.
