An experienced FP & A Analyst for Digital is required in talented finance team. You will support the Digital and Group Services Finance Business Partner in preparing financial reporting, consolidations, analysis and forecasting.  You will gain excellent exposure to working within a fast-paced and collaborative culture whilst building on your knowledge of this complex business. This is an exciting time to join Thames Water as they work towards their innovative turnaround plan.
What you will be doing as  FP&A Analyst for Digital
  • Support the budgeting and formal forecast cycles including rolling forecast and IBP (long-term business plan.
  • Own and manage wider relationships to understand and communicate drivers of month-end performance and forward-looking view to support achievement of targets.
  • Creation of high-quality reports, analyses and commentary on performance to assist decision-making.
  • Regularly influencing and presenting to senior finance management, key findings from financial analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement with the finance team. Including (but not limited to) automation, efficiency, and standardisation. Also, support any wider plans to upgrade or change financial systems.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with finance teams across the business unit to ensure strong engagement on planning, forecasting and performance issues.

What you should bring to the role?
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of providing financial insight, and preparing annual plans, and forecasts.
  • Very strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant communications experience - presenting financial analysis to senior management 
  • Collaborative work style but also takes ownership to complete tasks independently.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of financial and analytical experience.
  • Strong modelling and solid database skills are required.
  • Experience with planning systems and reporting technology.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools and developing data visualisations.
  • System experience with SAP and HFM preferable.
