We're partnering with a renowned global non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children worldwide to find a proactive and detail orientated and FP&A Analyst.
The role will primarily be responsible for driving excellence in data and key FP&A processes, identify pain points and work with stakeholders across Finance and beyond to deliver improvements, streamline and where possible automate reporting and analysis. This work is key to facilitate the team readiness to adopt a FP&A system solution over the next strategic period.
Your role will involve;
Driving high-quality FP&A data, analysis, and processes (70%):
- Managing staffing data across Centre departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment between financial and HR systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address root causes of staff cost coding issues and develop systematic solutions.
- Maintaining the reporting consolidation file, enhancing analytics for spend burn rates and predicting future spend.
- Coordinating FP&A team to ensure completion of key processes (month-end, budget, forecast).
- Identifying opportunities for Process Improvements and standardising to drive efficiencies.
- Recommending and implement internal Process Improvements as required.
Supporting budget management across Centre departments (30%):
- Providing value-add analysis for monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and reforecasts.
- Conducting meaningful financial analysis to support strategic and management decisions.
- Assisting the Head of Centre Finance Business Partnering with month-end processes and finance journal postings.
- Offering ad-hoc support to Centre teams with finance queries.
The ideal candidate will;
- Be a part-qualified CCAB accountant
- Have relevant finance and analysis experience, ideally within a large, multinational organisation
- Most importantly, have a through understanding of finance systems and processes along with a passion for driving continuous improvements
- Strong IT and analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
The role can be fully remote however there is a central London based office if hybrid is preferred. Study support is available and you'll receive a very generous holiday allowance and good pension contribution.
