FRA Tax & Statutory Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:
Reporting to the UK Head of FRA the Tax & Statutory Reporting analyst will play a crucial role within the UK finance team assisting on all tax related reporting and compliance.
They will also support the Head of FRA with the Statutory Reporting information, help ensure relevant controls are completed on a timely basis, assisting with projects on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare the monthly / quarterly and annuals analysis & reconciliation for Indirect Tax (VAT), corporation tax and Payroll taxes.
• Assist the FRA head with external audit requirements for both Direct & Indirect taxes liaising with the 3rd party external consultants (EY, KPMG, Deloitte) to compile and gather information to meet the key deadlines.
• Manage the indirect tax (VAT) process including the provision of information to EY, reviewing the Monthly / Quarterly analysis, liaising with the FRA head for approvals and completion of Monthly & Quarterly Payments to HMRC.
• Support with the end-to-end Annual Statutory audit and reporting process assisting the core activities from data gathering, query management and review of information request within the KPMG Clara tool.
• Complete the Statutory reporting of all Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns relating to Monthly, Quarterly, and annual surveys.
• Manage the quarterly analysis of the PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) information and actively assist with the annual return and submission to the HMRC ensuring close collaboration with the payroll taxes and local admin teams to obtain and gather information.
• Help develop and promote strong cross-functional collaboration with local and global internal stakeholders including Finance operations, Tax and legal teams to streamline and align processes, ensure compliance, develop best practice and improve discrepancy resolution.
• Provide support to the FRA Head on general ad hoc queries and assistance with projects where necessary.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (AAT / ACCA Part qualified)
• Proven accounting experience with experience in general ledger accounting and basic knowledge of Tax, Indirect tax and Statutory Reporting
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP (SAP preferable) systems and other data analysis software.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.
