My client, based in Rawdon, Leeds are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their growing team. Experience within the freight/logistics industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
" Dealing with road freight (trailer) shipments import and export (in and out of Europe). Arranging UK customs clearances, chasing deliveries to customer, dealing with customers and haulage companies.
" Sending, processing, and chasing invoices
" Requesting quotations
" Arranging airfreights, customs clearance, deliveries
" Arrange deliveries
" Screen and direct telephone calls
" Obtain updates from airlines, shipping lines and hauliers for delivery updates
" Maintain and updating customer spreadsheets
" Tasks as requested by the Commercial Manager.
Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and the role is 100% office based.
There is free parking onsite but the location is also on a major bus route.
