Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Inspire a love for language learning and culture through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both French and Spanish.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students in the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum and departmental resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism in French and Spanish with the ability to teach both languages at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language learning and cultural appreciation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting is preferred.
- A commitment to contributing to the ongoing improvement and success of the school.
