The School and Role
ABC Teachers is seeking a dynamic and dedicated MFL Spanish and French Teacher to join our team at a vibrant secondary school located in Yardley, Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students in the languages of Spanish and French, fostering a love for learning and cultural appreciation. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners, promoting proficiency in both Spanish and French languages.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and linguistic development.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the language learning experience.
Requirements
The successful MFL Teacher will have;
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in MFL Spanish and French.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish and French at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting cultural awareness.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and other necessary safeguarding checks.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
