Job Description
New opportunity for a French Speaking Bid Assistant / Coordinator to work with a global leader in international transport & logistics. This role is hybrid working from Uxbridge (3 days a week in the office)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyse and respond to tenders, pre-qualifications, request for Information and similar documents
• Allocate work to technical, compliance, legal, regional and pricing departments. Ensure deadlines are met
• Support Commercial and operational staff in meeting client requirements
• Liaise with internal divisions to form and administer development of products
• Provide and maintain library of proposal documents and other information on intranet and websites
• Ensure appropriate communications and liaison are maintained
• Produce internal reporting, statistics and analysis information
• Keep Group Management informed of latest customer requirements
• Develop ‘skill centres’ for industries with similar requirements to oil and gas (mining, energy, telecoms, etc.)
• Assist in resolution of problems and client concerns.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Impeccable written English skills and attention to detail
• French Language skills are essential
• Possess a creative flair combined with commercial writing skills
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate at all levels
• Experience of the tender process and key terminology and documents
• A self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude.
