Location: Lancaster - flexible with on-site & remote working
Salary: Up to £36,000 - can be flexible

Hello,

I am working with digital consultancy who are looking to add another front-End Developer to their small team of 6.

They are flexible on remote working but would have you in the office a couple of times a week if you'd prefer to work in the office.

You will be in an agency environment working on client websites (normally 1 at a time). They are bespoke requirements so every project will be something new.

Your responsibilities:

* Crafting client-side code for responsive websites, implementing contemporary best practices.
* Constructing websites tailored to specific requirements.
* Utilizing their customized content block system to provide clients with a versatile CMS.
* Collaborating with the team to devise innovative solutions that align with client needs and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate should:

* Comprehend project requirements, collaborating with the development/design team and stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
* Demonstrate excellent organizational and planning skills, managing multiple projects concurrently.
* Exhibit keen attention to detail and effective communication skills for seamless collaboration with fellow developers in executing designs.

Required skills encompass:

* Proficiency in translating designs into code using clean and scalable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
* Hands-on experience in developing web solutions for Content Management Systems.
* Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
* Capability to produce scalable CSS.
* Understanding of layout aesthetics.
* Proficiency in Git and version control.
* Strong attention to detail.
* General knowledge of UX and accessibility best practices.
* Adherence to usability best practices.

Interview Process:

1st Interview (Video call) - An informal chat with members of the team where you can discuss your experience so far and talk about what the company is up to and their current projects in more detail. Following this they will ask to see some examples of your work (past client work, GitHub etc…)

2nd Interview (Final) - Another meeting with the team to talk through your work and a bit more in depth generally about the role, your skills and what they expect from the job.

Offer - If everything lines up with yourself and the company then they will move to make you an offer to join their team!
