Front End Developer (TypeScript React) London to £55k

Opportunity for a skilled Front End Developer to join an award winning scale-up that's experienced rapid growth and huge success with its click and collect SaaS product. You'll be working with a variety of technologies, continually learning and progressing your career as part of a supportive, diverse environment.

As a Front End Developer you will collaborate with product designers to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, translating design mock-ups into highly responsive web pages. You'll seek to optimise performance and ensure cross browser and cross platform compatibility, implementing modern web development best practices to enhance code maintainability, scalability and reusability.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in the London, City office once a week (or more often if desired).

Requirements:

• You have Front End web development skills with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS and ideally also Next.js
• You have experience with responsive design and mobile first development principles
• You have a good understanding of cross browser and cross platform compatibility, web performance optimisation techniques and tools
• You have a strong knowledge of web development best practice and keep up to date with industry trends, keen to learn and develop your skillset
• You have experience of working on high volume websites
• You're collaborative and have great communication skills
