Role - Front of House
Duration - 3 Month Contract
Location - Westminster, London
You'll be employed by a well-established corporate property organisation in the capacity of a Front of House and be their welcoming face to their brand for both internal and external staff. You will be working within an extraordinary building equipped with in-house catering, multiple event spaces and meeting rooms alongside an excellent team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to their visitors and to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the main reception area.
To excel within the Front of House role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Deliver a professional approach, with a tenacious, robust and confident manner
- Assured and well presented
- Provide a 5* customer service at all times
- Proactive and innovative in your approach and to be able to demonstrate continuous improvement in own work processes
- Diplomacy skills to deal with a variety of different customer groups
- Proficient in organisational skills, telephone etiquette and to be a confident communicator
- Knowledge of Audio Visual, Security, and Fire Systems would be an advantage
- IOSH, First Aider, SIA Qualification is desirable
Key areas of responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring reception coverage during scheduled hours, promptly answering all calls with appropriate greetings and directing them to the correct personnel
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of Fire and Health & Safety policies and procedures
- To act as a Fire Marshall and to liaise with Management on any emergency evacuations
- Interacting with all individuals entering the building including staff, members, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and diplomacy
- Conducting people checks to ensure building security, challenging individuals without proper access passes and promptly reporting any issues to management
- Responding to all emails within a two-hour timeframe, prioritising based on urgency
- Strict adherence to reception manual procedures, ensuring updates are implemented
- Maintaining cleanliness in reception and the lobby, promptly reporting any facility issues
- Remaining informed about daily activities within the building
