Our Client is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join their dynamic team. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, a vibrant and outgoing personality, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests. There is a possibility that this role could go permanent after 6 months.
Key Responsibilities of a Front of House Assistant
- Warmly greet and check in customers upon arrival
- Provide information about our facility and services
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate scheduling
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area and drink prep area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure exceptional customer service
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner
- Uphold a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Contribute to the overall success of the business
Key Competencies of a Front of House Assistant
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive demeanour
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
