Pie Bob's Bakery is a small family run business in Arbroath. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with good quality hand made products and strive to deliver a friendly and professional service. We are currently expanding our business from Bakery and Takeaway to adding a Cafe and making the work environment as efficient as possible for our team. Within the cafe there will be opportunities for individuals who want to be part of our expanding business. Our cafe will be open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Sunday. Hours will be available from 8am to 5pm across those days.
We are seeking a Front of House staff to join our team in our cafe. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, catering, or food service, with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver a high standard of service at all times
- Operating a professional barista machine
- Maintain a clean and organised front end area
- Answer customer enquiries and provide information about products and services
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and the smooth running of the cafe
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer
-facing role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus
- Familiarity with cafe operations or food preparation is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast
-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
We are looking for multiple staff to join our Cafe team, with a mixture of part time and full time hours available. These will include weekday and weekend hours as well as holiday and sick cover. Candidates should be able to provide an element of flexibility in their approach to this exciting role.
