Job Introduction
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will manage the Front of House operation including the employees and service standards.
22.5 hours per week (5.00 pm – 9.30 pm) Monday until Friday
£12.61 per hour
Role Responsibility
As a Front of House Catering Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that excellent levels of service are being delivered to the customers during service
- Identifying and maximise up selling opportunities for profitable sales growth
- Be flexible, proactively manage and work alongside the current team members helping with the day to day duties and ensure that all levels of personal and general hygiene is at its utmost
- Overseeing accurate cashing up after service and weekly stock takes
- Managing the hospitality booking service including organising and delivery to the required standards
- Ensuring that all equipment used is in safe working order, checked regularly and any faults reported to management, ensure equipment is not used until safe
- Actioning customer compliments by praising staff and resolve complaints satisfactorily, referring to your line manager where necessary
- Comply with all Baxterstorey Company policies and procedures and client site rules and regulations
- You will also be fully trained in the back of House procedures and be able to help out in the event of management absences

The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good financial awareness
- Possess good customer service skills
- Good organisational skills and a proactive team player
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great team work
- Intermediate Food Safety and Health and Safety Certification
