Front Of House General Assistant

Front of house, General Assistant, required for the season to work up until end of September 2024. Live in available if required at this lovely Takeaway Caf?? located in the coastal area of Kingsbridge, Devon to work Front of house.

This property is on a bus route, however a car would be advantageous. If you enjoy the outdoors and a coastal location, this could be for you.

Our client has a Cafe located on the coast with panoramic sea views. It is a very popular meeting place offering a classic range of seaside meals, including renowned fish and chips, burgers, salads and a children's menu along with fresh coffee, tea and cakes.

Working as part of a small team, this role is mainly required for Front of house - till work, food wrapping up, packing takeaways, however someone who is flexible and does not mind stepping in to help out in other areas may be advantageous.

Previous experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous, however training will be provided. You will be a team player, with a hands on approach providing a friendly and positive customer service to guests. Shift work is involved to include week-ends on a rota basis.

Requirements for the role ofFront of house, General Assistant, include:

• Flexible shifts covering lunch and dinner service, including weekends
• Smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service
• Hands on, engaging, warm and welcoming to guests
• Cover staffing breaks which last for an hour

Live in available for a single person. Transport - car is desirable due to location. (possibility for a couple, however the number of hours worked for each will be reduced to accommodate a couple)

Front of house, General Assistant:

18-21 years old: Salary GBP9.50 / per hour. A 50p bonus for the hours worked, for completion of contract at the end of September 2024

21 +: GBP11.50 / per hour, plus 50p bonus for completion of contract at the end of September
