Front Of House Staff

SNS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Experienced & Enthusiastic Front of House Staff to cover Temporary/Ongoing assignments for their clients located around London.

We also have permanent roles available to if you are looking for something more stable.

Typically, we supply Front of House Staff to the Catering & Hospitality sector.

This includes institutions such as Restaurants, Gastropubs, Cafes & Hotels.

Payrate

£10.42 – £12 Per Hour

Working Hours will depend on the location and the client. 

Waiting Staff Main Duties:

• Provide the perfect service experience for every guest
• Ensure the guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
• Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
• Serve the Guest in an accommodating manner
• Must know all food liquor, beer, wine and retail offered
• Pre-bus tables; maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
• Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
• Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures
• Report to property on time and in proper uniforms
• Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately.
• Take food and beverage orders, give food orders to kitchen and deliver orders.

Bar Staff Main Duties:

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Developing new cocktail recipes.

The ideal candidate will –

• Be flexible with working hours
• Be willing and able to travel within London
• Be self-motivated
• Have Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 2
• Have Health & Safety Certificate Level 2
• Have previous work experience in a similar role
