AddressWe run a group of 3 independent, family owned hospitality venues in the seaside town of Clevedon, including a Bottle Shop & Bar, a fine-dining Restaurant and a Tapas Restaurant (our latest venture).
We are currently looking to recruit Front of House Staff/Supervisors to work predominantly at either our Bar & Bottle Shop or Tapas Restaurant.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals to come and work in a varied and stimulating role with plenty of opportunity for self-development and career progression.
The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role. Previous knowledge of Epos Now till system would be beneficial but not essential as full training can be given.
Main duties as follows:
- Greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, using the till system, preparing food & drinks, maintaining a clean and organised dining area, handling credit card transactions.
- Following daily opening up and closing down shift plans.
- Delivering excellent standards of customer service at all times by listening, understanding and dealing with customer queries in a confident, professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner – motivating the team to do the same.
- Using initiative to make the right decisions.
- Effective communication with the kitchen team e.g. in relation to food allergens.
- Assist with ensuring that high standards of hygiene, safety and general housekeeping are met at all times Ensuring personal cleanliness is to a high standard at all times (clothes, hands etc).
- Passing customer feedback to management.
- Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Carry out any other duties as decided by the Directors.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £9.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
