We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client who is looking for a Fuel Systems Test Technician who are a leading global manufacturer with an exceptional reputation. Specialising in advanced technologies, this position would be perfect for someone who has experience of setting up maintenance tests, serving and repairs of mechanical fuel injection systems to showcase your vast skill set, experience, and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Initial setup of tests in terms of mechanical installation
• Support software and instrumentation setup and maintenance through the test process
• Maintenance of tests under test on the facility, planned interventions, servicing and repairs
• Test program editing
• Maintain the product under test, first stage diagnostics
• Disassemble and build of product
• General facility support
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

• Intermediate mechanical fitting skills
• Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality
• Basic Instrumentation set-up/operational skills
• Basic data acquisition skills
• Intermediate computer (MS office) skills
• Basic test equipment programming - examples: (AVL Puma/National Instruments/editingskills)
• Basic engine function understanding
• Either or both: Basic rig function understanding/Basic engine test bed understanding
• Good Communication skills
• Basic RISK assessment skills
