Brand Nudge is a venture capital backed analytics platform which serves some of the world's most successful household name retailers and brands. The business is growing fast and so we need to extend our team with talented developers.
We're looking for Full Stack Developers to join our team which is HQ’d in Reading, Berkshire. The candidate will become an integral part of our development function and report to the CTO. The candidate must have knowledge and experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
You’ll be working alongside other developers, collaborating on the various features of our world leading platform. You will be helping to drive innovation and product improvements to our core platform.
This role is essential to help support Brand Nudge’s exponential growth. Responsiveness and willingness to drive new ideas through to robust developed solutions is key to the success of this position. Willingness to own an issue and see it through to completion is a core competency that will make you successful within the team. This position will require a highly energetic quick learner, who thrives in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Writing and maintaining clear, secure, and scalable code using Javascript and associated technologies, working within an agile development team.
● Collaborating across teams to help design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
● Working with product owners to understand business initiatives and to implement the desired technical capabilities to facilitate these requirements.
● Maintaining knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies to recommend and deliver best practice and future-proof solutions.
● Assisting with the end to end management and maintenance of the Company’s Cloud hosting environment.
Your Experience
● Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an IT/Data-related field.
● Good written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong knowledge and experience in Javascript and associated front- and back-end frameworks, including React and Node JS.
● Solid working knowledge of API development.
● Solid knowledge and experience with Relational Database Management Systems, including design, configuration, and query optimisation.
● Strong knowledge and experience working with version control systems.
● Good working knowledge of AWS / other Cloud services, covering service offerings, Architecture principles / best-practice, and *NIX-based administration duties.
● Good working experience with Sprint Planning/Task Management using JIRA or similar tooling.
● Experience with Python is desirable.
The Details:
Salary £45 - 55K Plus Benefits
Location: Reading City Centre
Working Pattern: 3 days office based minimum, 2 days flexible working.
