As a full-Stack Developer within Vertu Technology, you will be part of a dynamic and agile team that delivers cutting-edge solutions for the company's many digital platforms. You will be involved across the entire development cycle, from design and prototyping to testing and deployment.

The Vertu Technology team operate primarily from our head office location in Gateshead, but we have a mix of hybrid and remote workers across the team. Whilst we are prioritising hybrid working where possible, we are open to remote working if you are the right person for the role.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following essential skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• At least 2 years of full-Stack Developer experience, comfortable working on both frontend and backend
• Fluent with web programming languages and runtimes (ideally JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS)
• Worked with common frontend libraries and framework (ideally React, Redux)
• You have experience working in the cloud (ideally AWS though Azure is an asset)
• You have experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI)
• You have some experience with SQL and NOSQL databases (any of MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis)

Desirable:

• Experience working with a wider range of programming languages (ideally Golang)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform or familiarity with the AWS SDK)
• Experience in setting up build systems and CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions or Gitlab CI)
• Experience in unit and end-to-end testing (Jest, Playwright)
• Experience with GraphQL
