Full Stack Web Developer (Full time)- PHP, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Wordpress
A Cheshire-based web agency is seeking an experienced (full stack) senior web developer to join the team. Working within WordPress we deliver creative digital solutions for midsize through to enterprise clients, ranging from sportswear brands to IP law firms.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a team environment with 3+ years of commercial experience in website or web application development using frameworks or CMS platforms such as WordPress. You’ll be motivated and eager to step up to a new challenge in a supportive, exciting and friendly environment.
As the senior developer,you will be responsible for developing high-quality HTML, CSS and JavaScript interactivity to produce stunning digital solutions. This role requires a focus on producing quality, maintainable code with a production workflow and someone passionate about accessibility, usability, performance and creating the end user experience.
Responsible for developing and upgrading front and backend code and functionality on projects and working with the teams to ensure all sites are kept up to and date, while creating new ground-up builds for the range of new clients we have on board.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for:
- Web development and maintenance across existing and new websites
- Git Hub workflow management
- Online development activities
- Cpanel server management
Knowledge and Experience
- Experienced in Wordpress and PHP framework (3 years minimum)
- Experience using JavaScript, Git version control
- Experience in coding HTML/CSS/Bootstrap
- Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
- A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team
- Organised with attention to detail
- Good communication skills are essential for liaising closely with clients and colleagues at the design stage and throughout a project
- Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
