Work for a Charity that's based in Wales as a Supporter Fundraising Manager - Permanent
The post of Supporter Fundraising Manager is responsible for line-managing fundraising staff and maximising organisational efficiency in each of the charities regions. This role is responsible for an increase in our supporter base and volunteer networks across Wales to enable growth in fundraising income. The role will prioritise the provision of outstanding supporter journeys and be responsible for setting targets and plans and managing the effective performance of their staff fundraising team, for the generation of new volunteers and income locally.
What you will be doing
- Having accountability and responsibility for the budgetary performance of a region covering a range of fundraising markets.
- Taking a lead role in supporting, developing, and managing relationships with potential new and existing charity supporters, working at a senior level with other high-level supporters.
- Reports to the Head of Supporter Fundraising for Wales, Midlands, Southwest and Channel Islands.
- Line management of the 1 x Corporate and 2 x Community Fundraisers in Wales.
- Works closely with other teams within the Income Generation directorate operating locally to develop supporters, potential supporters, and business projects within fundraising - in particular Major Giving, Partnerships, and Legacy. Outside of the directorate, works closely with Local Services and National Services.
Experience required to be considered
- Highly developed leadership, line management and team building skills, ideally in a fundraising environment but equivalent experience in the areas of sales, marketing or relationship management is relevant.
- Working well with others as part of a team, giving support, and recognising expertise in others.
- Excellent ability to successfully motivate others to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent written communication skills to analyse interpret and present proposals, reports, and strategic plans in a clear and persuasive way for a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to verbally present information, to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring, and confident way to achieve desired outcomes.
