An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rotherham Furnished Homes service, and we are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and providing support to enhance the service.
The role is based within the Housing Options Temporary Accommodation and Furnished Homes service, which is responsible for the delivery and provision of the Council’s Temporary Accommodation portfolio and the delivery of the Furnished Homes scheme.
The aim of the role is to provide daily administrative support and assistance to the teams responsible for the delivery of Temporary Accommodation and the Furnished Homes Scheme.
You will provide administrative support, including data collection, compiling spreadsheets, the raising of orders and works to help assist within the quick turnaround of Temporary Accommodation properties.
There will be requirements to support the management team and colleagues to raise jobs and orders with contractors and other departments within the Council.
This is a varied role which will require you to work from home and the Furnished Homes office based near Hellaby.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have experience of customer service and have confident IT skills.
You will be a confident communicator and decision maker, who is positive team player with a collaborative approach to work and can also work well independently.
