The Atelier Gallery Limited is a small gallery in Edinburgh. We are passionate about presenting art and our artists. With a strong customer focus we "Present original art that is created to be loved."
We are recruiting for our gallery team!
A busy, all encompassing role requiring adaptability and proactivity, along with excellent customer relations skills, attention to detail and high levels of self initiative. Although previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial, an enthusiastic personality with a ‘high standards’ attitude is of far greater importance.
Although there may be a requirement to work one weekend day, we are flexible to hours, so please do get in touch if you would love to work with us in The Atelier Gallery.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and provide assistance to customers, relationship building
- Assist with the coordination of gallery events and receptions
- Update and maintain the gallery's website and social media platforms
- Assist with marketing efforts, including designing promotional materials
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gallery space
- Collaborate with artists on exhibition planning
Qualifications:
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a gallery or art-related environment is a plus
