About the Role

Our Dukes Golf Course plays host to an outstanding 5* Championship Golf Course, situated on the edge of St Andrews. The club has an excellent reputation with a range of facilities on offer to its members and guests. We are looking for Seasonal Gardner’s to support with the maintenance and development of the gardens and landscape of the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance of lawns and gardens.

• To maintain the landscape areas and carry out daily work programs as devised and instructed by Head Gardener

• Prepare and maintain machinery/hand tools.

• To ensure personal protective equipment and uniforms are maintained to the required standard.

• To follow the safe working practices implemented by senior team members ensuring the safety of all guests, staff, and contractors.

Qualifications:

• NC horticulture preferred but not essential.

Experience

• Preferred but not essential.

Salary

This is a seasonal opportunity during our high season, until October 2024. The successful candidate will need to be available to work between 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday. A competitive hourly rate up to £12.36, depending on experience along with a range of associate benefits.

Job Type: Fixed term contract starting April 2024.

Salary: £10.68 to £12.36 per hour
