Our client who is based in Burton-on-Trent is looking for Gas Engineers to join their team due to continued business growth.
Benefits:
- Salary - £42,000 to £50,000 per annum
- Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs
- Flexibility on working hours.
- (Optional) Overtime available - Saturday Time and Half / Sunday Double Time

Role and responsibilities:
- Inspecting and maintaining gas appliances and plant room equipment.
- Attending reactive, diagnostic, and emergency repair works, including liaison with Helpdesk and suppliers to obtain information on the job, parts, costs and lead times.
- Installing and carrying out site works associated with the installation of gas appliances, central heating plant and plant room equipment.
- Where appropriate develop positive client relationships, providing on site client teams with guidance on the operation and management of their assets and project works.
- Provide data to support the creation of quotations (including equipment, parts, and labour).
- To ensure works and delivery comply with health & safety and work standards.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the wider maintenance team and helpdesk.
- Daily travel is a requirement of this role, you would predominantly cover the North of England.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of working in the commercial gas sector.
- Hold relevant ACS qualifications / Commercial Gas Safe registered plumber.
- Commercial Gas Qualifications.
- Installation experience essential.
- Ideally able to work across both service and breakdown.
- A good work ethic, self-motivated and systematic.
- Proactive and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure with changing demands and priorities.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence.
