Temporary Position
Build Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the built environment - from executive to operative level.
With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for a Gas Engineer.
Day to day for Gas Engineer:
- Gas Engineer carrying out servicing in domestic properties in East London
- Need to have use of your own van
Qualifications needed for Gas Engineer:
- CCN1 - Core Domestic Gas Safety, including CPA1 (Combustion Performance Analysis)
- CENWAT - Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters
- CKR1 - Cookers*
- HTR1 - Space Heaters (including Gas Fires and Wall Heaters).
- DBS Certificate

The ideal candidate will have social housing, domestic, void, council or housing association experience that is a Gas Engineer.
Candidates will have previous experience of working within the gas industry and will hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and Level 3 NVQ or equivalent City and Guilds. Additional experience with domestic plumbing, asbestos awareness, DAH1 would be advantageous, however is not essential.
