Gatehouse Security Officer

We are hiring!

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include but not subjected to patrolling, surveillance, gatehouse duties.

Shift Time 5pm - 2am Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with potentially more hours covering holiday and sicknesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations and possess strong observational and communication skills.

```Responsibilities```

- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises

- Report any suspicious activities or incidents

- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks

- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order

- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed

- Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or violations

- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary

```Experience```

- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role

- Knowledge of security operations and procedures

- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

- Strong observation skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- First aid certification is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 12 per week

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• SIA (required)
• Driving Licence (preferred)
