As a General Manager in the hospitality industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our establishment. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team, including front desk staff, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments.
- Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Guest Satisfaction:
- Ensure a superior guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and quality.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
- Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost control and revenue optimization.
- Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
- Drive sales efforts to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, liquor licenses, and labor laws.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the property's reputation and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, renovation, or other business development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of achieving financial and guest satisfaction goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
