As a General Manager in the hospitality industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our establishment. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership will be crucial in driving profitability, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team, including front desk staff, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments.
    • Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  2. Guest Satisfaction:
    • Ensure a superior guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and quality.
    • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  3. Operations Management:
    • Oversee all day-to-day operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
    • Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost control and revenue optimization.
    • Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
  5. Marketing and Sales:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
    • Drive sales efforts to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  6. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, liquor licenses, and labor laws.
  7. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the property's reputation and profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion, renovation, or other business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of achieving financial and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
